About Us – Ife-ooye Elegant Women Association

Mission:

To be in one accord for the development of our hometown through the act of love and respect.

Appellation:

Members are to address one another as “Elegant lady”. E.G Elegant Lady Bola.

Our Objectives:

To create a conducive environment for social rapport among members of the association.
To provide moral and financial assistance to our members when necessary.
To create awareness and assist less privilege women in Ife environment.
To assist the Ooni of Ife in the promotion of Ife cultural heritage.
To explore on all avenue to assist our people in diaspora and Ile – Ife in general.
To encourage and deliberate on all issues affecting and paramount to Ile Ife land.
To Support such Charitable objectives as may be deemed fit by the association.

Our Aims:

Our aim is to make measurable changes and actively help in the development of Ife.
To promote unity among all Ife women both home and abroad.
To harness all our visions and resources together as a group for the development of ife.

Dress Code:

The group dress code is white with a choice of colourful head tie.

Association Meeting:

The association meeting is held quarterly and it is compulsory for all members to attend.

Activities:

The association hold various activities yearly, with the solo aim of building synergy and mustering resources to enable us accomplish our mission and primary goals, as we forge ahead relentlessly in our bid to help disenfranchised old women in the various communities of our state, to enable them live comfortably and have decent accommodations.
